Welcome to Captain Dan’s Charters! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing this website and booking our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website or our services.

1. Booking and Payment:

  1. All bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a charter due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or mechanical issues.
  2. A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due prior to the start of your charter.
  3. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
  4. Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once a booking is confirmed with a deposit, the price will be honored.

2. Cancellation Policy:

  1. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to the scheduled charter date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
  2. If you cancel your booking between 14 and 30 days prior to the scheduled charter date, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit.
  3. If you cancel your booking less than 14 days prior to the scheduled charter date, the deposit is non-refundable.
  4. In the event that we cancel a charter due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

3. Conduct and Safety:

  1. All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
  2. The Captain has the right to terminate a charter if any participant’s behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
  3. Participants must adhere to all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Captain and crew.
  4. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the charter.
  5. Life jackets are provided and must be worn by all participants when instructed by the Captain.

4. Fishing Regulations:

  1. All participants are responsible for complying with all applicable fishing regulations and licensing requirements.
  2. We reserve the right to inspect catches to ensure compliance with size and quantity limits.
  3. Any fines or penalties resulting from violations of fishing regulations are the sole responsibility of the participant.

5. Liability:

  1. Captain Dan’s Charters is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by participants during a charter, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.
  2. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety and should inform us of any medical conditions or concerns prior to the charter.
  3. We recommend that participants obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

6. Intellectual Property:

  1. The content of this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Captain Dan’s Charters and is protected by copyright laws.
  2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from this website without our prior written consent.

7. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wisconsin.
